Reporting bugs

We take every effort to deliver high quality software. However, the sheer complexity of software systems and the number of platforms and configurations we have to support means that we can’t guarantee our software is completely bug free. Please report any bugs you find - we can only fix bugs we know about. Please email the above address, including:

  • A detailed description of the problem.
  • Your operating system (e.g. Windows 10 or macOS 10.12).
  • The version of Hyper Plan (shown in the title of the main window).
  • A step-by-step description of how we can reproduce the problem.
  • A screen capture (where appropriate).
  • Your Hyper Plan (.hp) file (where appropriate).

The step-by-step description is particularly important. If we reproduce your problem, we can probably fix it.

A screen capture can be very useful when attached to a bug report email (a picture is worth a thousand words). If you are able to record a video showing the issue, that's even better.
