Hyper Plan v1.5.1 is now available

A new Hyper Plan release is now available for Windows and Mac OS X, with a significant number of improvements and bug fixes, including:

The ability to add images to cards. Just drag a PNG, JPG or BMP image onto a card.

You can now choose a property to be of type Automatic, Text, Numeric or Date. If the type is Automatic, Hyper Plan will treat the property as Text, Numeric or Date depending on the values it has.

Properties of type Date have a date selector.

You can now show a color legend in the Cards pane.

v1.5.0 was a test release.

You can find more and download the new release from the release page. The download buttons are at the bottom of the release page.

This is a free upgrade if you already have a v1 license key. If you haven't purchased a license yet, you can do so here.

Thanks to everyone who sent bug reports and suggestions for improvements. Please let us know if you have any problems with the new release.

Hyper Plan v1.4.1

Since the last newsletter we also put out Hyper Plan v1.4.1. This contained a few minor improvements, including more options for showing and hiding columns and rows.

All the v1.4.1 improvements are also in v1.5.1.

Mac OS X 10.7 support

Due to issues with third party libraries we aren't able to support Mac OS X 10.7 from Hyper Plan 1.4.0 onwards. If you have Mac OS X 10.7 you can either:

  • Stay with Hyper plan v1.3.0; or
  • Upgrade to a more recent version of Mac OS X; or
  • (Don't hate us!) Move to Windows XP or later - the same licence key works on Windows or Mac.

Feedback

Many of the improvements we have made to Hyper Plan have been based on customer suggestions. If you have any suggestions about how we can make Hyper Plan more useful for you, then please feel free to email us.
